Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete a gap analysis to define industry training needs related to Rare Earth Element technologies and processes.
  • Define education objectives for Rare Earth Element workforce development.
  • Develop a strategy for K-12 and post-secondary education to promote Rare Earth Element careers.
  • Define education needs and oversee development of curriculum in support of K-12 education strategy.
  • Design, develop, and implement K-12 and post-secondary curriculum initiatives aimed at preparing students for future workforce demands.
  • Collaborate with educators, industry partners, and other stakeholders to create innovative and effective learning experiences that align with workforce development goals
  • Analyze data to inform curriculum development and program improvements
  • Incorporate project-based learning, STEM, and other innovative instructional strategies.
  • Ensure curriculum complies with state and national education standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for teachers, administrators, and academic and industry partners on curriculum and program initiatives.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Education, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years’ experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years’ experience.
  • Deep understanding of learning strategies and ecosystems, curriculum development, and workforce trends.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing workforce development programs or initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of K-12 and post-secondary education standards and workforce development trends.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including educators, industry partners, and community organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with competency-based education and personalized learning approaches.
  • Experience in conducting professional development for educators.
